Prime Video has an impressive selection on offer at the moment with a bunch of new titles from their very own studio as well as cinema releases that have hit the streaming service for the first time in the last month. You've got some quality content right at your fingertips so it's time to pass the popcorn and hit play.

Role Play

Emma (Kaley Cuoco) is just your run-of-the-mill housewife, married with two kids. Oh, except she harbours a secret job whereby at night she's an assassin. 

One fateful evening Emma's two lives intersect and it blows her cover in a spectacular fashion. Tune in to get a taste of it all: action scenes, comedy, family drama and the prowess of seasoned vet Bill Nighy.

No Hard Feelings

It's been a hot minute since there was a quality comedy like this to sing and dance about but we've finally got it in the form of No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence. 

The set-up is: lonely, broke woman answers an ad from some over-bearing (but well-meaning) parents who will offer to give someone a car if they date their son. JLaw brings oodles of charisma and gives this movie all the heart it needs for an easy, feel-good watch.

Past Lives

Oooft this film is pure magic on screen. 

Past Lives offers searing commentary on the 'sliding doors' moments of life told by childhood sweethearts Nora and Hae Sung who meet up again as adults after going their separate ways in life. 

This film is a beautiful gut-punch of emotions and will make you ponder all the fleeting moments of your life. Greta Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro deliver career-defining performances that will etch into your soul.

Of an Age

Whenever we get the chance to promote Australian cinema achievements we're going to sing it from the rooftops. 

Of an Age is a queer love story set in 1999 and follows the life-changing summer of a young Serbian-Australian ballroom dancer. This script is so moving and offers the lead actors the vulnerability and space to truly portray what it's like to fall in love for the first time.

Totally Killer

There's nothing quite like a slasher comedy film set in the 80s to really light up the screen and Totally Killer does just that. 

Kiernan Shipka is a brilliant main character as she traverses time and space to fight off the Sweet Sixteen Killer and rewrite history. Totally Killer has plenty of laughs, tongue-in-cheek generational observations and of course some really fun 80s fashion moments.

Saltburn

If you've been anywhere online recently you'd be well aware of the blistering conversation surrounding Saltburn. 

There's the bathtub scene, the grave scene and the 'Murder On The Dancefloor' scene amongst the most shocking moments across the 127 minutes - all of which need to been seen to be believed. Director Emerald Fennell has quite a knack for making films that get people talking and Saltburn is no exception. 

Joy Ride

A raucous buddy comedy starring the rising talents of Ashley Park (Emily In Paris) and Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All At Once)? Sign me up! 

Not only is this movie laugh-out-loud funny but it has some incredibly touching moments as the main characters embark on a journey of self-discovery. Joy Ride blends together risque moments with tenderness in the best way possible.

Somebody I Used To Know

In Somebody I Used To Know Dave Franco directs his wife Alison Brie (who is on board as co-writer) in this romantic comedy about a woman who returns to her hometown to bustle in on her former flame's current relationship. 

Ally (Brie) is a hot mess and is trying to find meaning in life through others but inadvertently discovers what she was looking for all along was a spark that lived inside of her.
